Goodbye Xanga...until we don't meet again

It wasn't you, it was me...really

Tuesday, July 03, 2007

I am on the verge of eliminating Xanga from my life completely ... Ah!!!!!

This is true my friends.  The fact of the matter is that Facebook provides me with everything that Xanga does and more, so Xanga has become obsolete.

If you feel that I should keep the Xanga dream alive and have a reasonable reason as to why, leave me a comment and pursuade me to take another course of action.

If no action in the form of persuasion is taken, then I will assume that you also feel that Xanga is obsolete which will further my desire to amicably part ways with it forever.

Xanga and I have sure had some good times, but the fate of my relationship with Xanga now rests in your hands...

Choose your own adventure!

Ok, this analogy popped into my head a while ago, and I thought it wasn't half bad.  So, here it is!

I have come to the conclusion that relationships are like gum.  When you first bite down, you are hit with an explosion of flavor and it is wonderful!  In most cases, after you have been chewing for a while (some longer than others) the gum loses its flavor and ultimately has to be thrown out for a newer, more exciting, longer-lasting piece of gum.  Gum chewing (and relationships) continue this way until you find the perfect piece of gum that can be chewed for a long, long time and although the flavor might not be as strong as it was at first, it still has a great taste that makes one want to keep chewing and chewing until the two (the chewer and the gum or two people in a relationship) are separated by something other than choice.

Now, I know it is not a perfect analogy, but I think it works pretty well.  Anyway, that is all for now.  Hit me with some comments and I'll hit you with some cyberspace smiles!

I bid you farewell, but remember that whatever they offer you, Don't Feed the Plants!

There are two main things that are on my hate list right now.

1) Myspace: I think it is a pointless waste of time and filled with a lot of trash.  I only keep a Myspace account because sometimes it allows me to read what is going on in the life of my favorite band: Boink.  Other than that, it sucks

2) Text Messaging: Also pointless, if you need to get ahold of me, just call.  But what if I am in class you ask and text messaging would be quicker?  You can wait til I get out of class or leave me a message and I will call you back.  Or people who just text during class to get through class, I leave you with wise words from a professor of mine: A college education is the only thing people will pay thousands of dollars for to do everything they can to avoid receiving.

That just happened

P.S. I will be moving to an apartment in Fort Wayne on Saturday to start my student teaching so all prayers are welcomed, I am very nervous!

Is it worse to leave your clothes sitting in the washer too long or the dryer?
